Myra Poss Gauldin
Evans, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, May 14, 2011, Myra Poss Gauldin, 71, wife of the late Gary H. Gauldin.
Mrs. Gauldin was a lifelong resident of Martinez. She was a member of Pine View Baptist Church. Teaching Sunday School and Bible Study were her passions. Mrs. Gauldin retired from Sears Roebuck and Company after 36 years of service. She taught line dancing and coached the Thap Women’s softball team. Mrs. Gauldin was a devoted Atlanta Braves Baseball Fan.
Family members include: daughters; Rachel Collins (Paul) of Martinez, Kim Gauldin of Evans, 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister; Betty Lemley, 4 nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by her parents, James M. and Alice Poss and sister; Rachel P. Conger.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Davenport officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be members of her Pineview Baptist Sunday School Class.
Her family extends their heart felt thanks to Odyssey Hospice for their remarkable compassion and professional care.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 16, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
