Mrs. Myra Scott Feldman
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest April 17, 2013 at University Hospital, Mrs. Myra Scott Feldman, wife of 53 years to Mr. Donald Roy Feldman.
Mrs. Feldman was a native and life long resident of Augusta. She was the Valedictorian at Tubman High school and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters in Library Science from Florida State University. Mrs. Feldman was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta where she taught Adult Sunday School and was president of the Senior Adult Group and was a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class. She directed the Y-Teens with the YWCA. Mrs. Feldman retired from DuPont after 26 years of service as a Technical Librarian and an Area Supervisor.
Family members in addition to her husband include brother: J.D. Scott and wife Barbara and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Feldman was preceded in death by her sisters: Varie Bolton and Janet McManus.
A funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013, at11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet with Dr. Jacob Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta Building Fund at 3500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30909.
