Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, July 17, 2015, Ms. Myrtle Manders Johnson, 89.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Providence RI but lived in Beech Island, SC. She was a member of Capers Chapel Methodist Church and a charter member of West Acres.
Family members include daughter: Judy Waldrop of Martinez; sons: William “Bill” Johnson (Grace Winter) of Beech Island and Captain Donald Thomas Johnson (Cathy) of Palm City Beach, FL; sisters: Barbara Cioffi of Martinez and Loretta Rau (Alton) of Augusta;brothers: Raymond Manders in Evans and Edward Manders (Edith) of Grovetown eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Sunday, July 19 at 1:00 P.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to West Acres Baptist Church at 555 Gibbs Rd, Evans, GA 30809.
