N. Kent Logan, Sr.
Evans, GA- Surrounded by family and with the thoughts and prayers of many friends, N. Kent Logan, Sr. entered into rest at his residence Monday, June 29, 2015.
Mr. Logan was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. He was a loving husband of 46 years to Mrs. Margie Logan and devoted father and grandfather. Mr. Logan was a 1969 graduate of the University of Georgia of Pharmacy and practiced for many years. After a brief retirement he returned to work at Wrens Drugs where he immediately became part of their family. He loved sports and played baseball for Brewton Parker and Augusta College. He hit the first home run recorded in Augusta College history. Mr. Logan was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
Family members in addition to his wife include son: N. Kent Logan, Jr. (Sharon); daughters: Laurie Quesenberry (Rodney), Tracie Sowinski (Jason); grandchildren: Jackson, Logan and Maggie Quesenberry, Chase and Coleman Sowinski, Izzie and Emmie Logan. He is also survived by a brother: Vance Logan, Jr. (Betty); sisters: Delores Tankersly (Albert) and DiAn Clark (Phillip); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Logan was preceded in death by his parents: Earl and Frances Logan, brother: John Arthur Logan and sister: Doris Williams
A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Wade Sosebee officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association at 2916 Professional Parkway, Martinez, GA 30907.
