Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, May 17, 2014, Mrs. Nan Bowling Smith, 60, loving wife of Patrick G. Smith, Jr.
Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and Medical College of Georgia School of Nursing. She worked in the operating room at St. Joseph Hospital for over 20 years.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: Charles “Chip” Fulmer and wife Kim; daughter: Brittney Nan Fulmer; grandchildren: Jackson Patrick Fulmer, Gracie Banks Fulmer; and brothers: Banks Bowling and wife Lorraine, Dwight Bowling and wife Virginia.
The family would like to thank David Hogue and staff of Family Physicians.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Storey Chapel of First Baptist Church with Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Augusta, 206 Milledge Rd., Augusta, GA 30904.
