Augusta, GA - Nancy McElmurray Hair entered into rest Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

Nancy was born in Augusta in 1932 to Mildred C. and Walter W. McElmurray
She was married to H. Wheldon Hair, Jr. for 50 years. Her children are Kenneth Wheldon Hair (Cindy), Vickie Hair Puckett (Jason), and Mary Hair Dant (Rick)

Moopha’s treasured Grandchildren are Patrick Colley, Jr., Lindsey Brantley, Mandy Lord, Wes Dant, Tanner Dant, and Blythe Dant.
She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother and sisters, Walter McElmurray, Mildred Lundy, and Mary Andrews.

Recently, she was placed under the wonderful watch of Heartland Hospice (Sarah Glover, RN) and was beautifully loved and cared for by her lifelong friend, Barbara Hanshew of Thomson, Georgia. Shirley McNair and Betty Bailey, were her last-new-best-friends and they helped to make 13 days and nights secure and comfortable.

Nancy is now home in heaven. She will be remembered well and often with loud laughter, eye rolling, and deep love.

Nancy’s Homegoing Service will be held on Friday, August 7th at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Kiokee Baptist Church 2520 Ray Owens Road Appling, Georgia. The family will welcome friends prior to the service, at 1:00 p.m. in Kiokee’s Fellowship Hall.
