Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, June 5, 2011, Mrs. Nancy R. Renfroe, 85, loving and devoted wife of James S. Renfroe.
Mrs. Renfroe was a native of Baker County, GA and lived in the Augusta area since 1952. She was the District Manager for Trailways. Mrs. Renfroe was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta.
Family members in addition to her husband of 35 years include: daughter, Pat Shelton (Allen); son, Mike Grow (Peggy); daughter, Kathy Bailey (Giles); son, Greg Grow (Terri); grandchildren, Stacy Wood, Rex Shelton, Karen Mathies, Michael Bradley, Trey Bailey, Emily Dalzell and Jenny Bailey; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Talmadge Rentz; stepsons, Frank Renfroe (Sue) and Michael Renfroe; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jann Bradley; brother, Bernard Rentz; sisters, Margie Lee and Hattie Kutosky.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta or Augusta Alzheimers Association, 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Jacob Malone officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel foyer of First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30909 until the time of the service.
