Nancy Sue Maxey McKenney

Entered into rest on Monday, December 18, 2023, Mrs. Nancy Sue Maxey McKenney, 84, loving wife of the late Mr. Walter McKenney.

Sue was born in Maxeys, Georgia and lived most of her life in Augusta. She was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church. She worked as a bookkeeper with the Richmond County Board of Education at Westside High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Family members include her sons: Jeff (Kristen) Levinsohn and Keith (Kim) McKenney; grandchildren: Karson Bowles, Michael Levinsohn and Kelby Levinsohn; great grandchildren: Harper Moore and River Levinsohn. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lila Maxey, grandson Connor Bowles and ten brothers and sisters.

Her family will hold a private graveside service in Lexington, Georgia in the coming months.
