Nell S. Hallman
Augusta, GA – Nell S. Hallman “Nama”, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her home surrounded by her children.
Mrs. Hallman was a Charter Member at The Sanctuary in Evans but was also affiliated with The Assembly of God for many years. She had many friends who were like family, Eddie Faircloth, Helen Worm, and Mary Flennikan. Mrs. Hallman retired as a bus driver, who was known as “Grannie”. She was loved by all who met her and was a tremendous prayer warrior.
She is survived by daughters: Anne Hatcher (Robert) of Evans, Linda Hill of Lincolnton, and Joy Benson (Bill) of Augusta; sons: William Kendall Hallman (Brenda) of North Augusta and Mike Hallman (Phyllis) of Edgefield; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister: Betty Wadsworth of Winston; and sister-in-law: Jackie Strawn.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Pearl and Ida Strawn; husband: Billy Hallman, Sr.; and sons: Monty Hallman, Victor Hallman, and Danny Hallman.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at The Sanctuary with Rev. Bryan Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary Mission Fund, 4584 Cox Road, Evans, Georgia 30809.
