Nellie (Billie) I. Timmerman
Mrs. Nellie I. Timmerman, 91, of Harlem, Ga., was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2015. In the early morning hours, the Lord opened the gates of heaven and welcomed her home.
Mrs. Timmerman, known by most as Billie, was a lifelong resident of the CSRA. She and her late husband of 76 years, W.F. Timmerman (Dub) lived in South Augusta where they owned Dub’s Auto and Truck Service for many years until they retired and moved to Harlem, Ga. She and her husband were both members of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.
Mrs. Timmerman loved the outdoors and could often be found outside working in her flower beds or enjoying her favorite past time, fishing. She was a family oriented person and nothing gave her greater joy than spending time with her 9 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Timmerman is survived by her children, Sandra (Ron) Crum, Bill (Pat) Timmerman, Priscilla (Larry) Nunnally and Roger (Ester) Timmerman.

A funeral service will be Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Timmerman’s grandsons, Brett Timmerman, Paul Timmerman, Randy Timmerman, Stevie Morgan, Clay Morgan and Glenn Riley.
