Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Kentwood Nursing Facility, Mrs. Norma Follett Stevens, 86, wife of the late Gerald E. Stevens.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Nashville, TN and resided in Augusta since 1967. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church and the Altar Guild of St. Augustine’s. She was a member of the Southern Jewelers’ Travelers Association. Mrs. Stevens was a retired Manufacturers Representative to the Tabletop, Gift, and Decorative Accessory Retail Trade. She was an expert in a wide variety of subject areas and numerous people sought her advice over the years. She was affectionately called “Dr. Norma”.

The family expresses its sincere appreciation to the staff at Kentwood Nursing Facility and to her special caregiver and friend, Conswello E. Hunt.

Family members include her son: Mark A. Stevens, of Forsyth, GA; her daughter: Deborah S. Warren of Augusta and Tommy Warren; and grandchildren: Alaina R. Warren, Charles T. Warren IV, and Paul E. Warren.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. Canon Neal Phelps officiating. Interment will be private.
