Mrs. Nixon was a native of Cleveland, OH. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Strongsville, OH and God was an important part of her life. She loved golf and to travel. Mrs. Nixon was also a Bridge Club member. She retired after working as a secretary at Foseco Metallurgical Inc. After retirement she volunteered at Southwest General Hospital in Berea, OH.
Family members include her daughters: Cheryl Nixon, Laurel Nixon; son: Daniel E. Nixon, Jr. (Debra) formerly of Strongsville, OH; grandchildren: Ryan, Tara, Matt, Derek, Lisa; and great-grandchild Peyton.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M at Thomas Poteet & Son.
