Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 27, 2013, Mrs. Olivia C. Mitchell, 63, loving wife of the late Ray Mitchell.
Mrs. Mitchell was a native of McCaysville, GA. She was a veteran of the United States Army Signal Corps. She retired after 22 years with the Medical College of Georgia as the CNL Program Coordinator.
Mrs. Mitchell was a loving and wonderful mother and grandmother. She was very benevolent as well as a listener.
Family members include son: Daniel Mitchell; daughter: Amanda Metcalfe and husband Jonathan; granddaughters: Cassandra and Emma Metcalfe; and sisters: Rebecca Wade and Lisa Abdulla.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends following the service at Mrs. Mitchell’s residence.
