Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Westwood Nursing Home, Mrs. Pamela Jean Oglesby, 76, wife of the late Paul M. Oglesby, Jr.
Pamela was a native of Mildenhall, England. It was there that she met her husband Airman Paul M. Oglesby, Jr., U. S. Air Force. They were married, had 3 children and returned to the U. S. in 1961. They made their home in Augusta since 1971. Pamela was a homemaker and was a former member of Church of the Good Shepherd and St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church She was a loving mother, grandmother and will be deeply missed by all.
Family members include: sons, Russell M. Oglesby and wife Melanie, the late Richard James Oglesby; daughter, Beverly Burt and husband David; grandchildren, Joseph Kent Oglesby, Katherine Meagan Hardy, Joshua Burt, Kristyl Boyd, Kaycee Miller; great grandchildren, McKenzie Boyd, Caroline Hardy, Jake Hardy.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Jake Malone officiating.
