Pascal Bryant, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, January 13, 2024, Mr. Pascal Bryant, Jr., 92, loving husband of Barbara Bryant.

Pascal was a member of National Hills Baptist Church and of the Martinez Masonic Lodge #710, Scottish Rite, Jamil Shriners, York Rite, Alee Temple, and the Shade Tree A Model A Club. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from CSX as a Road Master after 38.5 years. Following retirement, he worked for R.W. Bussey Construction Company. Pascal’s favorite pastime was spending time outdoors at “The Pond”, riding horses, hunting, fishing, raising his chickens and digging holes with his tractors.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his children: Donald Bryant (Peggy), Frank Bryant, Linda Barbee (Ralph III), and Kenneth Bryant; grandchildren: Stephanie Lively (Kenneth), Matthew Bryant, Houston Barbee, and Christopher Newton (Whitney); great-grandchildren: Sophie Newton and Avery Newton; and sisters: Mildred Witherington and Frieda Lancaster. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pascal and Rachel Bryant, and sisters, Edith Keen, Dorothy Howell, Betty Joyce Hendry, and Vivian Avis.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Kevin Steele officiating. Interment will follow with Masonic Rites and Military Honors at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be brothers of Martinez Masonic Lodge #710.
