Augusta, GA – Ms. Patricia “Patty” Diane Ducey, 59, entered into rest Saturday, August 20, 2016.
Patty was a native of Gadsden, AL but has lived in Augusta most of her life. She attended Richmond Academy and Lynndale School. She worked at Georgia State Florist for an extended time. She loved her cats, bowling, and participating in local special olympics. Patty loved her mom and dad dearly and will be missed by many.
Family members include her mother: Betty H. and the late Bob Ducey; brothers: Robbie Ducey and wife Marcia, Rick Ducey and wife Dana, Tony Ducey and wife Danita; uncles and aunts: Don Hester and wife Alice, Jimmy Ducey and wife Jane and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Ms. Veena Reese and the care givers at Mount Eagles Wing Personal Care Home for taking such good care of Patty.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lynndale, Inc., 1490 Eisenhower Dr., Augusta, GA 30904.
