Mrs. Patricia Stewart Flaherty

Hephzibah, GA – Mrs. Patricia Stewart Flaherty, daughter of Gene and Marin Rosier Stewart, passed away at her home in Hephzibah, December 10, 2010. Patricia was the devoted wife for 22 years of Jeff Flaherty.

Patricia was a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area. She was a 1982 graduate of Butler High School and a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church. Patricia was employed at the North Augusta Antique Mall.

Family members in addition to her loving husband and parents include daughters: Christine Flaherty and friend David Nelson, Haley Flaherty and friend Joseph Rawl, all of Hephzibah; sister: Ronda Stewart Lundquist and friend Coy Payne of Augusta; brother: Johnny Stewart, Jr. and wife Patti of Hephzibah; nieces: Marie Stewart of Florence, SC, Brittany Johnson and husband John Wesley of Lenoir City, TN; nephews: Stewart Lundquist and wife Angela of Lebanon, PA, Adam Stewart and Andrew Stewart, both of Hephzibah; numerous aunts and uncles, and over 70 cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Keith Cox, Dr. Steven Usry, and Wayne Usry officiating and eulogy by Theresa Dudley. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dan James, Jr., Garry Fulcher, Jr., Wesley Usry, Syl Rosier III, Stewart Lundquist, and Jared Rosier.
