Patrick Leith Barney

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, June 24, 2024, Mr. Patrick Leith Barney, 86, loving husband of Mrs. Nancy Hadden Barney.

Patrick was born in Dearborn, Michigan. He served with the Military Police in the U.S. Army. After retiring from the U.S. Army, Patrick worked in Loss Prevention and then as a Federal U.S. Marshall.

Family members in addition to his wife Nancy, include his children: Keith Barney and Patricia MacDonald (Steve); grandchildren: Kristyn Wadsworth and Ashleigh Barney and brother: Richard Barney (Carolyn). He was preceded in death by his parents Orland and Helen Barney.

A special thanks to all the nurses and staff at the GA War Veterans Nursing Home.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Timothy Lark officiating.
