Patrick was born in Stuttgard, Germany but was living in Martinez, Georgia. He was self-employed as an Interior Designer. His family was most important to him. Patrick enjoyed learning and computer technology. He was into working with muscle cars, playing pool, solitaire, Nascar, politics and spicy chili.
Family members include his son: Chris Steinmeyer (Ashleigh); daughters: Savannah and Katlyn Van Schoonhoven (fiancé Jason Ham); grandchild: Miles Steinmeyer; father: Patrick Vincent Van Schoohoven; sister: Susan Gurley; nephew: Addison Gurley, neice: Bianca Gumus and the mother of his children: Cindy Boerstler; Mr. Van Schoonhoven was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Van Schoonhoven.
A funeral service will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Warren Ham officiating. Interment will be private. Pallbearers will be Phillip Dressel, Tom Kennedy, Bryan Yearwood, Kevin Burns, Mark Stagich, Jacob Kirby and Brandon Dressel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Schoonhoven Children’s Fund c/o SRP Credit Union on Davis Rd.
