Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, May 30, 2013, Mr. Paul E. Jackson, 56, husband of Mrs. Miyoko K. Jackson.
Mr. Jackson was born in Johnson City, TN, and was currently living in Evans, GA. He was a graduate of University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Mr. Jackson was very dedicated to his career as a Chemical Engineer at Southern Company Nuclear Operations. He studied Cello at Augusta State University under Dr. Christine Crookall. Mr. Jackson was a Cellist with the celtic chamber ensemble Avalon. He considered Avalon to be his extended family and his primary directive to them was “Have Fun”.
Family members in addition to his wife include mother: Edna Jackson; brother: David Jackson; sister: Joyce Jackson and three nieces.
A memorial services will be held Monday, June 3, 2013, 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating.
