Paul Myers
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, January 19, 2017, Mr. Paul E. Myers, 98, loving husband to the late Dorothy Greene Myers. He passed away at his residence and was surrounded by relatives. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Family members include his daughters: Sally Myers Aenchbacher and Dorothy Myers Watkins; grandchildren: Paul Aenchbacher, Cher Watkins Wheeler, Leslie Watkins Cartledge, Adrienne Taylor Carter, Brian Taylor, Danielle Myers, Johnathon Myers, and Grier Myers; and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his son: Charles Myers; daughter: Sissy Simons; grandson: Jeremy Smith; and granddaughter: Meagan Watkins. He also had two adopted daughters, Dana Leedom and Jessica Powell who were his caregivers for the last years of his life and was loved deeply by Dana, Jess and their boys.
Mr. Myers was born in Chattanooga, TN and was a long time resident of Evans, GA. He was a medic in the US Army during WWII and served on the Queen Elizabeth.
He retired from Dupont in 1973 and after his retirement he occupied his time helping friends and family in the Evans area. He was an avid gardener and loved bird watching in his later years.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
