Colonel Paul N. Simon

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, April 3, 2012, Colonel Paul N. Simon (Retired), 84, husband of 37 wonderful years to Dr. Ann Simon.
Col. Simon served in the U.S. Army for thirty-three years followed by thirty-three years as a Professor of English for Georgia Military College. He was elected to the Army Infantry School Hall of Fame in 1972.
Family members in addition to his wife include: daughter: Randi Simon-Sery of Piqua, Ohio; son: Eric Simon of Lawrenceville, GA; son: Garrett Simon of Laguna Beach, California; granddaughters: Erika Rambler and Brooke Simon of Atlanta, GA; as well as nieces and nephews in Burlington, Vermont.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 4:30 P.M. at the Advent Lutheran Church, 3232 Washington Road with Pastor Earl R. Schafer officiating.
