Augusta, GA – Mrs. Peggy E. Ford went to be with the Lord, Sunday,
September 02, 2012, 72, loving wife of 54 years to Mr. Donald R. Ford, Sr.

Mrs. Ford was born in Jefferson, GA and resided in Augusta. She was a retired sales clerk for Sears Roebuck Company. Mrs. Ford was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Family members in addition to her husband include: R. Ken Ford, Mike Ford, Cynthia Kay Anthony; grandchildren: Heather (Mike) Schiebel, Stephanie (George) Brown, Jennifer Peck and Isaac Anthony; great grandchildren: Will, Jonathan and Matthew Schiebel, Preston and Caleb Christy. She was preceded in death by son: Donald “Pete” R. Ford Jr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Pastor Les Smith and Mr. Jack Kimbrell officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shepeard Community Blood Center, 1533 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, GA 30904.
