Harlem, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, September 29, 2011 at University Hospital, Mrs. Peggy M. Ford Lokey, 69, wife of the late Mr. Edward Lamar Lokey.
Mrs. Lokey was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
Family members include son, Paul E. Lokey (Tracy) of Evans; daughter, April D. Elmore of Indiana; grandchildren: Kristen Jones, Jacob Lokey, Haley Elmore, Hannah Elmore; brothers: Donald Ford, John Ford; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Larry Ratliff for the special care shown to Peggy.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Pastor Tad Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Paul Lokey, Jacob Lokey, Ryan Jones, Ken Ford, Mike Ford and John Ford.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA, 30909.
