Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, December 16, 2012, Mrs. Peggy Jean Odenweller, 83, wife of the late Richard F. “Dick” Odenweller, Jr.
Mrs. Odenweller was a native of Detroit, MI but has lived in Augusta all of her life. She was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy. She retired after 25 years with the Richmond County Library. Mrs. Odenweller was a loving mother and grandmother.
Family members include sons: Richard E. “Ricky” Odenweller (Vickie), Robert M. “Bobby” Odenweller (Debbie), the late Stephen F. “Stevie” Odenweller; grandchildren: Ashley Atkins (Rav), Richard “Ritchey” Odenweller (Kelly); and great-grandchildren: Kaitlin Renew, Rhett Odenweller, Molly Odenweller, Colten Atkins, Emily Atkins; brothers: Mikel Skinner (Pat) and the late Monty Skinner.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. Thomas Healy officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2607 Lumpkin Rd., Augusta, GA 30906.
