Peggy Ann Stille

Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, March 23, 2023, Mrs. Peggy Ann Stille, 87, loving wife of 72 years to the late Mr. Grady Dexter Stille.

Peggy was born in Atlanta, GA and moved to Augusta in 1951 with her husband for his career. Peggy was a beautician for over 50 years and was the former owner of Peach Orchard Beauty Salon. She was a faithful member of Hopeful Baptist Church. After retiring she enjoyed painting ceramics and serving others by volunteering. Most of all Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family.

Family members include her children: Tom Stille (Tracy) Darlene Bodie (Andy); Timothy Stille (Sherry) Kimberly Nolin (Ricky) and Keith Stille (Sonya); grandchildren: Greg Stille, Chris Stille, Evan Stille, Brandon Sitton, Brett Sitton, James Reid, Joshua Reid and Grady Bodie, Michael Scott Stille, Kushara Turner, Angel Yelton and Travis Micots, Jonathan Barefield, Jeremy Nolin, Alayna Nolin, Keith Stille II, Savannah Stille, Jacob Stille and Noah Stille and many loved great grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by her daughter: Patricia Lee Stille; and her parents Ivey Hall Smith and Betty Estelle Tidwell Smith.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Greg Glover officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
