Penelope Nichols

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at her residence, Mrs. Penelope Ann Nichols of Martinez, Ga.

Mrs. Nichols was a native of Kansas City, Mo. but lived in many places being the daughter of a US Marine. She spent the majority of her adult life in Georgia. She was a member of the Body of Christ Ministries. She loved the Lord and every day lived that love. She also loved her family, loved to shop, fish and her dog Wren. Special thanks to Junias “Tommy” Thompson for being such a dear friend.

Family members include her sons: David S. Wilson and wife Coni; Jonathan D. Wilson and wife Jill; daughter: Cathyle W. Caywood and husband Curt; grandchildren: Stefanie,Tiffany, Dathan, Chelsea, Kayla, Emilee, Chloe and Abigail; 5 great-grandchildren; brother: Samuel Gamble and wife Elisa.

Funeral services will be held Saturday. January 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Pastor Tony Monroe officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
