Penny Cozart

Entered into rest on Monday, January 13, 2025, Mrs. Penny Sue Cozart, 75, loving wife of the late Jack B. Cozart, Sr. 

Mrs. Cozart was born in Danville, IL to the late Oscar and Dorothy Winn. She retired from Georgia Iron Works in Human Resources. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be missed by all who knew her. 

Family members include her children: Dayna Romine Ashworth (John), Jarrod Romine (Phillip Messer), and Chris Cozart (Vicki); grandchildren: Jay O’Brien, Lauren O’Brien Terrell, Adam Fortenberry, Hunter Cozart, Gavin Cozart, and Carson Cozart; 4 great-grandchildren; brother: Kevin Winn; and sister: LouAnn Bates. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Barry Winn, Cosby Mills, Cindy Winn, and Shereyl Ewing. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
