Appling, GA – Entered into rest Monday, December 30, 2019 at home, Peter Conway Joseph Da Santos, 84, husband of Mayvernie Da Santos.

Mr. Da Santos was born in 1935, in Edinboro, St. Vincent, British West Indies. His career consisted of being a Merchant Sailor, an auto mechanic, and machinist and owner of Da Santos Precision from 1967-2018. Mr. Da Santos’ hobbies included motorcycles, basketball, fishing, and spending time with family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Da Santos, known as quite the prankster, was a friend to everyone who knew him and loved by all.

In addition to his wife, family members include: sons: Paul Alban Joseph Da Santos (fiancé Debbie Rice), Christopher Conway Da Santos (wife Laura Michelle Da Santos) and Patrick Joseph Da Santos; grandchildren: Joshua Peter Da Santos, Michael Joseph Da Santos, Zachary Alban Da Santos and Madelynn Sisteen Mary Da Santos; siblings: Barbara De Silva, Angela De Freitas, Carmen Laurila, Louise Lang, Monica Cahen, Yvonne Allen and Patricia Bailey; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Thomson, GA, with Fr. Stephen J. Lyness, celebrant. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas TX, 75284-0692.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at the church.
