Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Mr. Philip Wayne Patterson, 69, loving husband of Mrs. Renee Stango Patterson.

Born in Gadsden, Alabama, Phil moved to Augusta when he was in his early teens and stayed here the rest of his life, raising his family here. Phil was big on family, football and fishing, not always in that order. He was known as a life-long Alabama fan (Roll Tide!). He worked almost all of his life in some form of construction and made many friends in that industry. Phil’s children and grandchildren meant the world to him, and he did all he could to be the best father he could be and be there to support them in whatever life choices they made. He was a devoted and loving husband who made wishes come true.

Family members in addition to his wife Renee include his mother: Norma Patterson; children: Stephen Pendry (Jennifer), Philip P. Patterson, Stacy Sikes (Tim) and Erin Patterson; stepchildren: Danni Capps, Jason Capps and Brianna Capps; fifteen grandchildren; a special grandchild, Arabella Patterson, who he was raising; three great grandchildren; Brother: Mitchell Patterson and sister: Lisa Presley, and many, many family members and friends. Philip was preceded in death by his father Preston Patterson and sister Lynn Kaul.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 4th, 2023.
