Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, October 15, 2014, Phyllis R. Paugh, 73, a devoted, wonderful, loving mother and grandmother.

Born in North Adams, MA in September of 1941. Phyllis was a graduate of O’Sullivan Business School. Phyllis worked for Carole Fabrics in Augusta, GA. She was an artist from crafts & painting to reading, cooking and even watching football. Most of all Phyllis loved her children and grandchildren. Her legacy is her family and making them feel loved as much as she was loved. She was our Mom, Nana and Poola.

Family members include a son: Eric A. Groothand and wife Julie; daughters: Janice G. Anderson and husband Duane, and Lisa K. Cox; grandchildren: Wesley H. Vaughn, Austin T. Vaughn, Morgan R. Groothand and Shane Peace; brother: Jeff Raycroft and wife Marsha; nephews: Derrick and Brad; and niece: Christine. Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother: Dorothy J. Raycroft; father: Phillip T. Raycroft and brother: Brian T. Raycroft.

A memorial service will be Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Grady T Wigley officiating.
