Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, January 6, 2012. Mrs. Raimunde Benoit, 86, wife of the late SFC Jerome J. Benoit.

Mrs. Benoit was born in Germany on June 9, 1925.

Family members include son: Jerry Benoit and wife Peggy; daughter: Ruth Rayburn and husband Burt; grandchildren: Heather Shutley, Christy Headrick and husband Brandon, Erica Wall and husband Mark, Vanessa Jackson and husband Mark; great-grandchildren: Evon, Isaac, Abrianna and Brendon Shutley, Kyleigh Headrick, Faith Gates, Kaylee and Hunter Jackson.


A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Fr. Michael Lubinsky officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
