Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, February 21, 2016, Mr. Ray Ramsey, Jr. 80, loving husband of Grace K. Ramsey.
Mr. Ramsey was born in Charleston, WV and he enlisted in the United States Navy after 26 years as a LIC. He received his Master’s in Education from Clemson University. Ray then taught in Berkley County and Aiken County Schools before retiring. He was a member of First Southern Methodist church. Mr. Ramsey was a member of the American Legion Post 205.
In addition to his wife family members include sons: Ray B. Ramsey, III, Henry Walter Ramsey (Roxanne); and grandson: Eric Arthur Ramsey.
A funeral service will be Friday, February 26, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at First Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park with Full Navy Honors.
