Ray Hathcock
Augusta, GA – Mr. Floyd “Ray” Raymond Hathcock, Jr., 55, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019.
Ray was a 1981 graduate of Hephzibah High School and went on to graduate from Phillips College. He was a database developer at Database Design and Management, a computer security engineer at Westinghouse SRS, and co-founder of Professional Help Computer Services, Inc. Most recently, Ray was the lead cyber forensic analyst at the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. He was a member of Union Masonic Lodge 75 and an FC Lecturer. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Family members include his daughters: Morgan Elizabeth Hathcock and Ann Jordan Hathcock, both of Lawrenceville; son: Austin Trevor Hathcock of Jackson, SC; and sister: Felicia Scott Sullivan of Augusta.
A graveside service with Masonic rites will be Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Vaucluse City Cemetery in Vaucluse, SC. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery. (To get to Vaucluse City Cemetery- Turn off of Walton onto Lott St. to find and enter cemetery)
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Lawrenceville, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
