Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Mr. Ray Mischel, 87, husband of 60 years to Mrs. Helen Mischel.
Raymond was born in Bismarck, ND. He enlisted in the US Army and retired as a Master Sargent after 24 years. Throughout his career, Ray and Helen lived in many places but made Martinez his home for the last 22 years.
Family members in addition to his wife include his children: Trip Mischel (Jennie), Julie Hammond (Kevin), Rhonda Faulkner (David) and Suz Mischel (Todd); 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A private family Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 23 at 12 noon at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Ingram officiating. Committal will follow at the Columbarium at St. Teresa of Avila.
