Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his residence with his family and friends at his side after an extended illness, Raymond B. Couture, Jr., 61.
Born in Richmond County, Ray “Butch” was a heavy equipment manager and mechanic and recently retired from Reeves Construction Company.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years: Lynne Henderson Couture; daughter: Shannon Couture; son: Brian Couture and wife Lindsey; granddaughter: Brinley “Babygirl” Couture, all of Grovetown, GA; sister: Carol Couture Faircloth and husband Jerry of St. Mountain, GA; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Broome officiating. Pallbearers will be Junior Lewallen, Andy Dachenhausen, Larry Force, Glenn and Reid Henderson
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to United Methodist Children’s Home at PO Box 2544, Augusta, GA 30903 or the Augusta Warrior Project at PO Box 31358 Augusta, GA 30903.
