Mr. Raymond V. Lee

Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Friday, April 1, 2011, Mr. Raymond Lee, 38, husband of Mrs. Karen Lee.

Raymond was born in Vietnam and resided in the Augusta area his entire life. He graduated from Butler High School in 1991. Raymond worked with Columbia County Waste Water and Sewerage for over 14 years as a plant supervisor. He frequently helped out at his family’s restaurant, MeMe’s and BoBo’s Express. Raymond was able to make people laugh and was known as a prankster. He loved to play golf and was an avid Georgia fan. You never saw him without a smile on his face. Raymond was a role model to everyone he was close to and was known for being helpful.

Family members include, in addition to his wife, daughters, Madison Elizabeth Lee and Megan Elaine Lee, son, Evan Andrew Lee, parents: mother, Mi Lee and father, the late Ching Lee, god father, Bill Luke, sisters, Kim Lee (Simon Yeung), MeMe Lee, Bo Lee, brothers, Herman Lee (Tonya), Ben Lee (Wendy) and eight nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11 A.M. at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 3321 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30909 with Rev. Jason Haddox officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Garden.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lee Family Memorial Education Fund, c/o Georgia Bank and Trust, 3530 Wheeler Road Augusta, GA 30909 or at any location.

The family will receive family and friends Monday, April 4, 2011 from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Karen and her children will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 P.M. at her home.
