Raymond G. Myers, LTC (Ret.)
Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Friday, August 16, 2013, Raymond G. Myers, LTC (Ret.), 71, husband of Ann Myers.
Mr. Myers, born in Moncks Corner, SC, was an infantry officer in the United States Army. He served one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He was awarded twice with a Purple Heart. He was also a member of the Lexington, MO Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his wife, family members include sons: Ray Myers and wife Vickie of Keysville, GA, Tim Myers and wife Amanda of Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Will and Michael; aunts: Grace Joye of Johnsonville, SC, Alberta Jordan of Charleston, SC and a number of cousins.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Mary Grace officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
