Rebecca Joyce Lariscy

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Augusta University, Mrs. Rebecca Joyce Lariscy, 90, loving wife of the late William H. “Bud” Lariscy, Sr.

Mrs. Lariscy was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. She retired from the Richmond County Board of Education Transportation department.

Family members include her son: William H. “Bill” Lariscy, Jr.; grandchildren: Melissa Kaufman (Kenny), Robin Dixon (Kevin), Stephanie Lariscy and William H. “Trey” Lariscy, III (Kayla); and great grandchildren: Abby Dixon, Destiny Wallace and Hampton Lariscy; sister: Annette (Betty) Pike Waters (Richard). In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sons: Harold Lee Lariscy and Gregory Lariscy; parents: Burkett Lee Pike, Jr. and Margaret Chavous Pike.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Todd Sturgell and Pastor Rick Nevard officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Kevin Dixon, Kenny Kaufman, Edwin Bird, Ricky Waters, Gary Harden, and Jacob Osborne.
