Renee Fraser

Augusta, GA — Entered into rest Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at Doctors Hospital, Renee Lee Fraser, 66.

Ms. Fraser was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on August 19, 1957. She was an Augusta resident since 1961 and a 1975 graduate of Academy of Richmond County High School. Prior to becoming a homemaker and dedicating her life to her family, Renee worked in banking and other capacities.

Renee was beloved for her kindness, consideration, and generous spirit. Her smile lit every room she entered and she never met a stranger. She was an avid reader and loved time walking on the beach. Renee treasured her family above all else and filled their lives with love and joy.

Family members include mother, Darlene Burkholder, Augusta, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda Kutlich (John); brother, Ryan Burkholder, Nashville, TN; stepdaughter, Stephanie Fraser, Evans, GA; stepson and daughter-in-law, Travis Fraser (Stephanie), Appling, GA; granddaughters, Ella Fraser, Evans, GA; Bentley and Kelsey Fraser, Appling, GA; and nephews Zack Kutlich, Marietta, GA; and Emerson Burkholder, Nashville, TN.  Renee was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Fraser and father, Merle Burkholder.
