Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, August 26, 2013, Mr. Reuben Auburn Holliday, 78, husband of Mrs. Phylis Holliday.
Mr. Holliday was a native and life long resident of Augusta. He was a graduate of Richmond Academy and the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering. He was also a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Georgia Tech. Mr. Holliday was then commissioned by the United States Air Force as a Captain where he flew B-47 and KC 97 Tankers and was with SAC. He was a member of Warren Baptist Church and a former member of AMBUCS.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include daughters: Sheryl Wendzik and husband Brian, Laurie Caldwell and husband Chris, Amy James and husband Greg; son: Rick Holliday and 8 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warren Baptist Church at 3203 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30907.
