Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 17, 2011, Rev. John Charles “Jack” Jagoditsch, Jr., 64, husband of Fran C. Jagoditsch.

Rev. Jagoditsch was born in Chattanooga, TN.; but grew up in Memphis, TN. He received his undergraduate from Lambeth College in Jackson, TN. He served as Area Director for Young Life Ministries International in Jackson, MS and Nashville, TN. for ten years before receiving his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. He ministered to congregations in Winterhaven and Ocala, FL., before joyfully serving as Senior Pastor at Lakemont Presbyterian Church in Augusta for 25 years.

Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Jennifer Montgomery (Clayton), Bethany Wilks (Nathanael); son: Jonathan Jagoditsch; grandchildren: Kayleigh Wilks, Hayden Wilks; mother, Sarah T. Jagoditsch; and brother, Jeff Jagoditsch.


A Celebration service will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta with Rev. Lee Lovett and Rev. Noah Kiser officiating. Burial will be private with Rev. Dean Conkel and Rev. Nathanael Wilks officiating. Pallbearers will be William Hatcher, Wendell Hofman, Tony Esposito, Dennis Harville, Tommy Brown, Carl Bryngelson, Rod Mackert, and Billy Belding. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Saturday Morning Men’s Group. The family will receive friends following the service.
