MARTINEZ, Ga. – Mrs. Rheta Perry Piggott, 58, entered into rest Monday, November 9, 2009, at her residence. She was wife of Richard Alan Piggott of Martinez.

Mrs. Piggott was a native of Dublin, GA but had resided in the Columbia County area since 1999. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church and was a Science teacher at Augusta Christian Schools for 6 years.

Family members in addition to her husband include her daughters: Kathryn Eudora Piggott and Elizabeth Rheta Piggott of Martinez; brothers: Ed Perry and wife Robin, Wesley Perry and wife Roe, Curtis Perry and wife Susan of Dublin, GA; sisters: Faye Sklar and husband Michael of Dunwoody, GA, Linda Pritchett and husband Harry of Jonesboro, GA, Milly Perry of Dublin, GA and Nancy Williams and husband Earnie of Dublin, GA.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Warren Baptist Church with Rev. Brett Legg officiating.

Interment will follow at 4:00 P.M. in Northview Cemetery, Dublin, GA.
