Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, August 19, 2009, Rhonda Gabor, 56, wife of Dennis P. Gabor.
Mrs. Gabor was a native of Chattanooga, TN and had lived in Augusta since 1990 and was a direct care provider at the Lynndale Center. She was past president of the Augusta Deanery Council of Catholic Women. Mrs. Gabor was a member and also past president of the Parish Council of Catholic Women at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity.
Family members in addition to her husband include her sons: Carl D. Gabor of Augusta, Paul W. Gabor (Nicole) of Augusta; sisters: Donna Clark, Regina Shepherd; brother: Randall McAbee and 2 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 22 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity with Rev. Tim Donahue celebrant. Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus Council #5484. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association, 1904 Valley Springs Rd., Augusta, GA 30909.
A Vigil for the Deceased will be held tonight, Friday, August 21, 2009, at 6:00 P.M. and the family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484. A guestbook may be signed on our web site www.thomaspoteet.com
