Richard B. Bradley
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, October 25, 2018, Mr. Richard Bradley, 93, loving husband of 58 years to the late Mrs. Edith Bradley.
Mr. Bradley was born in Addison, ME and was raised in Springfield, MA. He retired from the US Army Signal Corps, as a SFC, after 26 years, serving honorably in WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Following retirement he worked as a draftsman with Federal Pacific Electric. He was a dedicated member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church.
Family members include his sons: Whitney Bradley, Mason Bradley (Becky); grandchildren: Nina Bradley (Chuck) Broach, Ryan Bradley Noel, Karen Little (Chris) Gerard, Sharon Little (Justin) Old, Kyle Bradley. Great-grandchildren: Aidan & Avery Broach, Mya & Ethan Noel, Brayden & Kalynn Gerard, Jaycie & Kason Old, and Cincere Bradley. He is also survived by his sister Bertha and his brother David. Deceased siblings are Mary, Laurie, Whitney, Roger & Wallace. His constant companion, “Queenie", the sweetest dog, will miss him greatly.
The family would like to thank Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Harrington Park for their wonderful and loving care.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. John Donaldson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC.
