Richard "Dick" Brown

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest at his residence on Thursday, April 4, 2025, Mr. Richard Edmund “Dick” Brown, 81, loving husband of Vicki C. Brown.

He is survived by his children: Kimberly Brown Massey, Scott Benjamin (Angie), Richard P. Brown, Brandi Rosier Anderson (Damon). Six Grandchildren: Dalton Massey, Georgia Anderson, Elle Benjamin, Griffin Anderson, Hutton Anderson and Raymond Banjamin. 2 Sisters: Barbara Murphy and Joanne Goode

Dick was born in Boston and moved to Miami as a child, worked with Keller Industries until moving to Augusta in the late 60's going into business with Tom Hennesy, they owned Claussen's Bakery and other bakeries out of out of state. In 2000 he began a career in the mortgage industry. Other than work, Dick loved traveling with his family, reading and watching Fox News. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a very active member of AA.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., at the church.
