Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at University Hospital, Mr. Richard S. “Dick” Fox, 78, husband of Mrs. Barbara Whetstone Fox of Augusta.

Family members include: daughter: Ginger F. Connell (Greg), son: Stan Fox (Anne), grandchildren: Justin Harris, Sarah, Lauren, Ree, Mark, Clare, Conor, Liam, and Emma Fox, step daughters: Tammy Ray, Allison Geer, step granddaughters: Chloe and Addie, brothers: Stewart Fox (Rose Lee), Patrick Fox (Carolyn), sister: Josephine Curtis (Larry). Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Glover Fox and is survived by her many siblings.


Funeral services will be held Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Lutheran Church of Resurrection with Pastor David Hunter officiating. Interment will follow to Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Pete Claffey, David Claffey, Jim Claffey, Cab Stitt, F.P. Meehan, and Dayton Sherrouse.
