Martinez, GA – Richard C King, 87, of Martinez entered into rest on Friday, September 28, 2018, at his residence after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.

A native of Cleveland OH, Richard served in the US Air Force for 25 years and retired from the Medical College of GA after 10 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Sara (Fuller) King.
Survivors include his sister: Joann Butler; companion: Deborah Davis; daughter: Linda Beck; grandchildren: Kristy (Barry) Rushing of Roseville, CA, Richard (Sheena) Beck of Winder GA, Nicole (Kris) Anderson of Atlanta GA; and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Forces United formerly Augusta Wounded Warrior Project, 701 Greene Street, Suite 104, Augusta, GA 30901.
