Richard James LaFratta

Entered into rest on Sunday, January 7, 2024, Mr. Richard LaFratta, 73, loving husband of Luc M. Hua.

Richard was a native of Boston, MA, but had lived in Evans, GA for several years before his death. He was a veteran of the United States Army who proudly served his country. Richard loved dogs, football, and playing the guitar. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and fantasy football champion.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his children: Tinh Chen, Quyen Sheeks, and Minh Hua; grandchildren: Lexus Chen, Porsche Chen, April B. Sheeks, and Allison B. Sheeks; sister: Lynda LaFratta- MacQuarrie; and brothers: Anthony LaFratta (Yvonne) and Kenneth LaFratta (Robin). He is predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Therese LaFratta.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
