Mr. Bertsch was a native of Augusta, GA. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bertsch was an avid golfer, a beloved husband and father.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Phillip Bertsch and wife Cheryl, Richard Carty, daughters: Carey Bertsch Phillips and Michelle Long, sister: Martha Johnson and husband Pete, grandchildren: Hannah Phillips,
Lanie Bertsch, Heaven Wheatley, Sierra Phillips, Alex Wheatley, Payton Bertsch and Jeremey Phillips, Jr.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. David Shelton officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
